Moving Forward

For those of you who may have missed my last upload, Collage of College: A New Hope, I've had a few significant changes in my life recently. Like moving:



I'm really loving it here, and not just for the fact I don't have to be constantly fretting and sweating over food and shelter for a while. Pacific Union College has such a different atmosphere than CSU:Fresno did, I keep forgetting I'm at a college. Everyone on campus seems really friendly and nice, haven't encountered anybody who acts like a jerk or a bully. It's a little awkward being one of the only almost-30 students here, and getting back into a scheduled learning environment after so many years took some serious personal re-adjustment, but now that I'm in the third week of classes I think I'm finally settling into the routine.


All that said, you're probably all wondering how this impacts my fanficcing ability. Well... I'm still figuring that out. SW: TotOR 044 -- Reprimands was published the first day of classes here, and I haven't been able to organize my personal schedule to include writing time yet. Hopefully, with an actual schedule to work with now (and a considerable reduction in my depression symptoms since moving) I should get things on track soon enough. I'm going to aim for at least one chapter of TotOR a month, with a personal goal of getting Tails off Taris by the end of the year. We'll see how it all works out!
